If I don’t post about it, does that mean it didn’t happen?
Well, something did happen on Sunday - and I will post about! -personal struggles with Instagram be damned! (If it weren’t for the wonderful, Kaylee, Running Peas Instagram would not exist!)
On Sunday, a dream came true when I moderated a Q and A with my hero, ! I’ve long looked up to Carrie since college whilst competing in the same conference (go Big East!), and have followed her illustrious career in admiration ever since. It was a fun discussion and so many life nuggets to share, and hopefully we can share the video soon, but among my biggest takeaways is taking the time to CELEBRATE THE WINS. As runners (and people), we often move to the next workout, the next race, the next PR, the next activity so quickly that is feels like the current ‘win’ is relegated to merely a drive-by experience. Let’s stop to take it all in!
So today, a few days removed from my wild BM pop-up weekend, I want to fully appreciate the experience and send a big thank you and so much gratitude to Carrie for stopping by our little women-led brand collective and imparting some amazing athletic, life, and entrepreneurial wisdom our way. Check out Carrie’s podcast ! 💕
To all the ladies of Brand Haus Boston- we did it! A shout out to and for bringing us all together with kind, steady leadership - I’m in awe of all that you do. ⭐️
To and - my partners of the left wall- thank you for the fun, the sisterhood, the laughs, and the mentorship- I learned so much from you this weekend!❤️
A friend recently summed up our local youth run club as this - ‘camaraderie over competition’. I felt this from a small business perspective last weekend and it was everything. Shop/listen to these ladies above, they rock! 🙌💪🫛
