Like so many I am heartbroken about the loss of our dear Yolanda, the Queen of Glitz and Glamour. Thank you Tina Torchio for introducing us I will be forever grateful. She taught me so much in the last few years about being a strong businesswoman. She had so many lifelong friends and it was just remarkable how much time she spent checking in to make sure I was doing ok. I know she deeply wanted to see me succeed. I’ll never forget her taking me to lunch or visiting my showroom to order some pieces to having me on her iconic show to support me.
When I showed up to her party last year, wearing a dress with her likeness, she lit up and was so happy and it meant the world to me that she appreciated my art.
She tried to send me checks, but I refused to cash them. She said I was not being a strong business woman😭. I think I’m going to frame them.
The most important thing I’ll take from her is how important family is, her family was everything to her. I will miss you dearly, my glamorous spirit animal and try to always do you proud🤍🩷
