A new take on “Design with Nature,” Ian McHarg, Melody presents a synthesis of luxurious-natural materials,

engineered from cashmere, merino wool and alpaca fibers, with designs that celebrate the female form in finely tailored jackets and coats, flattering trousers, and versatile dresses and skirts. Influences are her mother, from whom she learned to stitch at the five and later acquire tailoring and dressmaking skills. “Her [mother's] closet resembles a Ralph Lauren showroom.” And Melody is also influenced by the latter designer, in addition to gleaning inspiration from fashion greats Emilio Pucci and Christian Dior.
