BIG NEWS!⁠⠀⁠⁠
Colin and I decided we are trading in these snowy days for palm tree nights :) At the end of the Feb we are going to be renting an for a month in Florida.⁠(I talked about it in my stories a few days ago)⁠⁠⁠⠀⁠⁠
It's no surprise that the cold cloudy days effect my mental state so we decided since we are both working from home because of the pandemic that we would work poolside for a bit! This past year sucked all creativity out of my so I hope that this will bring back the joy I used to get for Instagram and content creating. I can't wait to change up my feed with bright colors, summer outfits., and aesthetic flay lays!⁠⁠⁠⠀⁠⁠

Today I am sharing with you my top 3 editing apps you can use to take your images to the next level!⁠⠀

★ is great when using your own presets. It’s the best app, but a bit more high level and customizable. (The app is free, desktop you have to pay for monthly but it is worth it)⁠ I use this for all my photos with my own custom preset.⁠⠀
★ honestly the best user friendly. Has pre-made templates and presets that are easy to use to create a curated feed⁠⠀
★ is easy and has custom edits as well as filters that help give your photos a fun flare like glitter, prism effects, and other great filters. ⁠⠀

Instagram vs. reality⠀
Normally my feed doesn’t show the images of me crying at night, but that’s my reality recently. ⠀

I’m not going to lie to you I’ve been feeling extremely low lately. Spent a lot of nights crying and feeling depressed, unmotivated and uninspired. I’ve dealt with depression in my past but this year it has hit me like a ton of bricks.⠀
•⠀
I feel fake being on this platform and pretending life is great because it’s not. I don’t feel like I have purpose to my work/content life like I used to and I know it’s because of my mental state. I’m trying to better my health and well being but this past year has been so hard on me. I want to be open and honest because even though I feel alone right now, I know other people feel this way. ⠀

I’m a very emotional person and I feel feelings harder than most because I am an empath. I’m on my journey to bettering my mental state so I hope you guys understand if I don’t post as often as I normally would. ❤️ thanks for always being there for me ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let’s talk F-Stop/aperture 📸 ⁠⠀

F-Stop controls your depth of field in your image. The lower the number the more blurry the background will be, the higher the number the more clear it will be. Head to my reels for the full video with an example!⠀
