I got tired of feeling like I had nothing to offer my children along the lines of any kind of creativity. I felt like I was robbing them by depending on store-bought projects instructing them to paint things a certain way, or build objects according to exact specifications. I wanted to help them tap their inner artists. I wanted to help foster their creative sides and build their confidence. I wan
ted them to feel like actual artists with a palette, a brush, paints, and canvas - and them set them free to mix colors at will and to create what they felt in their hearts. Since painting with them on canvas at home, the conversations we've had have been stunning. They are noticing what happens when colors mix, observing textures, and feeling empowered to create a masterpiece that is instantly ready to hang on the wall. The wall not only displays their works proudly, but offers a chance to freeze and display a moment in time. The idea of the kit came from helping others like me out there. People with no innate artistic skill set but a real desire for art. The kit contains everything you need - you don't have to run around, going up and down art supply store aisles examining brushes and paints, or waiting for sales. It's all there to use and since we provide plenty of paint, to re-use. I love these kits and what they've done for my family. They really work for everyone - from ages 1 to 101. Ultimately, we will have even more diverse lines of kits - kits exploring different medium, curated and inspired by different artists, and more!
