I popped in to Restoring Hope at Armory today to check in with Christina about their beef and Noodles dinner on the 14th of December. Just getting our Ducks in a row food prep, bake sale, equipment needed , etc!
Found out I could go ahead and decorate my adopted Christmas tree!!😍🥰
So I went across the street, gathered my stuff and 2 hrs later, I got er done . Turned out pretty Sweet!! Around 60 homemade Angels on our Angel Tree!

Another project that took me several months to finish this summer. This cutie needed lots of TLC to get to the finished rocker.
Remove old cane, scrub clean, (let chair dry for several weeks) sand off old bubbled varnish, & wash again (then let dry) repair top left corner on back where you could see through the stick with wood putty let dry again , stain the repaired area to match the rest of the chair then several coats of linseed oil (let sit several days again to dry)
Then cane the seat and back with a sturdy 3/8” flat oval reed cane . A couple coats of linseed oil on whole chair let set to dry wipe it all down and …. Ta da this beautiful keepsake is ready to be taken home and love by the family
