Real talk — this one was a happy little accident. Ran out of my mustard yarn mid-make and just rolled with it… so now it’s a CROP for all my crop people 🙌 Threw on some cute brown scalloped trim + 3 lil buttons and honestly? Obsessed. The yarn ran out but the vision did NOT.

Found this yarn at Michael’s while grabbing a Nat Geo kit for my kid (mom errands → yarn finds, every time). Got halfway through and ran out 🫠 Searched everywhere online, finally tracked it down and ordered it.
It came a few days later and the colors are SO much more vibrant — one side feels like it was made in the early 2000s and the other in 2026 lol. Honestly kind of obsessed with the contrast.
AND can we talk about this ribbing 🙌 I’m putting this edge on every cardigan from here on out, maybe even my knits.

so this was supposed to be a cardigan… and then I ran out of yarn 🙃 classic. but honestly? I’m into it. cropped, breezy, perfect for july heat.
made with 100% Friends Cotton 8/4 in the prettiest mauve + lilac combo, with little sage green pops on the edges. lots and lots of double crochet — simple stitches, big payoff. granny square panel across the middle for a little texture moment.

Saw an image on my Pinterest (last pic) and right away I got inspired. I’ve had the granny squares in my stash for over a year so it was a great time to use them. I’m going to make a cardigan🤗 I hope I have enough yarn haha 🤞 ! Stay tuned for a final reveal . Back panel should be done today
