So this Pioneer Day feels a little different for me. I think of my Pioneer ancestors who left everything they had and knew for a new life in a new place. As I look at the similarities in my life, as I close down a business that I have loved and poured my heart into and the only path that I have ever known in my career. I have had a rich career full of clerks, customers, consultants, sales reps and fellow store owners that have become dear friends. I am choosing to let go of the pain, disappointments, situations and feelings of betrayal and forge a new future. One of happiness, contentment and new adventures! I CHOOSE to have a brightness of hope for what I get to discover about myself and my abilities. I don’t know what my future holds or what or if I will do anything professionally but I know that I get to choose what is going to make me happy. I am so grateful for an eternally supportive husband and family and amazing friends. You have lifted and supported me through a very difficult 4 months and I am forever grateful. The Wight House is not closed yet... but we will wrap everything up by the end of August. Then the real fun begins!!!
