Please come shop Monday and Tuesday! After that, we’ll open for Black Swamp Arts Festival with any remaining items. I started this business to bring a beautiful shopping experience to women in Bowling Green. At the time, I was a stay-at-home with six kids and built this business with my kids in tow — loving the joys of mingling motherhood and entrepreneurship. Along the way, Eden brought additional opportunities for community involvement and put me on a trajectory that I could have never dreamed. Throughout Eden’s 8 years of operation, I’ve obtained a Masters Degree and engaged in full-time work with Bowling Green Economic Development. At this point, I’ve been working full time for over 4 years while also managing Eden. All the while, my kids are growing up and their schedules have grown right along with them.

I’m at a place in this journey where it’s time to close Eden’s doors. The demands of running a retail store in this capacity no longer fit into the time and space available in my life. I have loved every minute of this adventure. I have met amazing people and cannot thank you enough for your support over the years. I have had the most amazing staff — some who have been with Eden since day 1 and others who have come and gone along the way. What a gift to build all of these incredible relationships over the years! I’ll enjoy seeing many of you as we begin our store closing sale - more info to come on that 😉.

BUT, this transition away from Eden has given life to a brand new opportunity! I’m excited to announce that myself and a partner are launching a brand new business at 186 S. Main Street! Oak Grove Collective will open its doors in October with a monthly market model of operation. Once a month, we’ll curate an incredible shopping experience packed with beautiful finds — some locally made and others specifically sourced by our team. The experience will include home goods, decor, specialty food, apparel, accessories, and more. We can’t wait share more about the exciting things to come at Oak Grove, so please go follow as we launch this business and update you on the progress.

It’s the end of an era and the beginning of a new one, and I couldn’t be more excited!
