The latest copy of Big Sky Life arrived on International Women's Day, with a kind note of gratitude from the Lone Mountain Land Company, fitting for the themes that this day celebrates.

The double-page spread leads the gallery section, an image that evokes fond memories of a group of friends riding in the mountains at magic hour, swapping stories, laughs and watching in awe as the sky shifted from vibrant blues to velvety magentas and pinks. 🤍

It's hard not to fall in love with Montana, the people and the landscapes, at the height of summer beauty. As I look out the window toward the frosty mountains, I keep daydreaming of the season when the days stretch out to where morning nearly touches evening, the river runs gently through the valley and the air smells of fresh mountain pine. 🌲

Vintage Coach Cashin Carry Feedbag Tote circa 1969. This bag is so beautiful! It's now restored to its formal glory with its bright Mexican striped lining, dainty kisslock, and iconic metal tag. I also found a 1971 8¢ stamp in the front pocket. According to the USPS, "issued on July 1, 1971, this stamp marked the official beginning of the U.S. Postal Service. Prior to this date, it had been known as the U.S. Post Office". So there's your history lesson for the day! This bag and other beauties can be found on Coach's ReLoved Vintage shop.

The original Musette from 1970. This little beauty was introduced with the first edition of the Mail Sac. I've been fortunate enough to collect all three versions of the Mail Sac, as well as all three of the Musette. This little beauty is headed to Japan where some very lucky person will be taking this home from the pop-up!
