Keira Integlia of Branford High School is currently a senior and participates in both BHS indoor and outdoor track, as well as BHS field hockey. This season, she was selected captain for indoor/outdoor track, and second time field hockey captain. In Keira’s 2015-2016 field hockey season, she had been awarded 2nd Team All-SCC, and 2nd Team All-State. In the following season (2016-2017), Keira has been awarded 1st Team All-State, and 1st Team All-SCC. The field hockey team won SCC Field Hockey Champions in 2016. Keira has been a Futures Field Hockey member for 4 years. As of 2017, she is a Futures Regional Team alternate. For the 2015 & 2016 seasons, Keira was a part of the NFHCA All-Academic Team. In 2015 and 2017, she won the SCC West Sectional Javelin Championship.
Keira has started in all 60 field hockey games she has played in since 2014. Out of those games, she has had 54 GA, her GAA stands at .90, and 26 shutouts. As for Tack & Field, her PR Javelin is 109.9 ft, OR Shot is 31.4 ft, and PR Discus is 80.4 ft.
Keira is not only active in sports, but also in academics and the community. She carries a GPA of 3.65, and is Vice President of the class of 2017 at BHS. Keira is a 4 year honors student and was awarded the Excellence in Student Government and Community Service by CT Senator Chris Murphy. She is a member of the BHS choir and is a Best Buddies Officer. Keira is also fond of participating in charitable work for HammerFest Triathlon, Exchange Club, and McGuirk’s summer & spring youth field hockey clinics.
