Remember when I said I was hitting pause on in person shows to open a shop? That shop is becoming a reality! It’s and will be at 51 Main St in Brattleboro, once I get the place painted and all set up.

It’s a good thing, I promise! I’m pausing in person craft show sales so I can focus all my energy on opening a fiber arts retail store and membership based studio. Bobbin & Skein will carry fabric, yarn, and tools for all things fiber arts. More importantly, we will have a membership based studio where you can pay a monthly fee for access to sewing machines, a cutting table, looms, spinning wheels, and whatever else we end up finding. Stay tuned for more details - when I have the social media accounts up and running I’ll let you know!

In the meantime, I’ll keep inventory up on the website and will continue taking custom orders. And maybe I’ll see some of you in Wells next weekend!

How is it more than halfway through August already? I've been busy prepping for this two day show in Wells, Maine, that starts September 6. So busy, in fact, that I've failed to take pictures of new work. But there is plenty of it, and it will be coming with me to Maine! Then I'll post things on the website in mid September.

This is a great excuse to see the beautiful Laudholm reserve in Wells, and the artisan lineup looks fantastic.

Two markets this weekend, both in Brattleboro - and then a nap. 😁 First up is Friday's Gallery Walk/First Friday Makers' Market in . Harmony Lot and Elliot Street become a giant party with music, food vendors, armored combat...and don't forget the gallery openings!

On Saturday I'm at , and the weather looks like it will be glorious. So much amazing local produce this time of year - well worth the journey!

After this weekend I'll be holing up in the studio to get ready for a big show in September at in Wells, Maine.

Plenty of twirl and room to grow - and pockets! The summer dress fits for up to three sizes, and there are a couple of these elephant dresses available now on the website (though this particular one went home with the model). Shown here is a 3-6 year dress on a kiddo who wears a 3T.

Sometimes I disappear a little bit from the socials - usually because I'm busy sewing and living and not busy taking photos or video. I've been doing a LOT of living lately, and a fair amount of sewing. That means I'll have some new items (including many things with the new Strawberry fabric!) at the Blueberry Festival at The Apple Barn on Rt 7 in Bennington on Saturday. I'll be updating the website after that show, so a little later than usual.
