We’re beginning to collect a little more information about the families who use The Village Closet.

This will help us:

• Show the need for The Village Closet in our community
• Apply for grants and other funding
• Better understand what local families need
• Bring in more resources
• Continue growing and improving the Village Closet

When you visit, we may ask for some basic information about your household and what you’re looking for. Sharing this information is completely voluntary.

Our hope is to keep The Village Closet growing and make it even more useful and accessible for local families. 💛

🎒 Still need a backpack for school? We’ve got you!

We recently received a generous donation of backpacks and have some available at The Village Closet. 💛

To help us make sure as many kids as possible are able to get one, we’re asking families to please limit backpacks to:

• One backpack per child
• While supplies last

No one should have to start the school year without what they need, so please feel free to stop by or share this with a family who could use one!

Winston Prouty's home-visiting nurses often loan out electric breast pumps to new parents. Our supply is getting low, so if you have one to pass along another family, please let us know!

Most popular brands include: Spectra S1 and S2 * Willow Go and Willow 360 * Elvie and Elvie Stride * Eufy * Baby Buddha * Zomee. We are also seeking wearable cups!

This past Saturday, around 10 volunteers joined us at The Village Closet for our annual spring cleaning day 🧹 Swipe through to see some before & afters! We cleaned nonstop from 9 AM-4 PM 😲 Together we reorganized, relocated the toy shelf to allow for more foot traffic, weeded out stained items, dusted, vacuumed, put away winter gear, made a pregnancy clothing rack for the warmer months, found new places to display items & just had a grand ole time bringing this vision to life! THANK YOU to all our volunteers who spent their Saturday with us when they could’ve been anywhere else 🫶 We appreciate you & are excited to see all our shoppers this Wed (4/22) 1-3 PM & Sat (4/25) 10-noon! Come enjoy our new & improved space 🙌
