We want to update everyone that Pierce ended in the amazing 3rd place of the Jr. Ranger Quarter Finals! ❣️

We are so incredibly proud of him and so thankful for every vote, share, message, prayer, donation, and cheer throughout this journey. Your support truly showed — Pierce for the most part was consistently in 1st place, even just two minutes before voting ended. As I've mentioned to many, the intensity of your heart and amazing support by real people showed consistently in every step of this journey. At the very end, it became a battle of donations and timing, and he finished in 3rd.

What an incredible experience to feel your love, and that's something we'll always remember! We felt support from family, friends, teachers, neighbors, local businesses, and our community in such a beautiful way.

After it all, Pierce was thinking of anyone that helped donate. He wants everyone to know that the donations helped support the National Wildlife Federation, a cause that means so much to him because of his love for wildlife, insects, conservation, and nature.

Quarter Finals Ends tonight at 9pm CDT🚨

🦂🌿 What people don't understand is just how much passion he has for nature ❤️.

From insects to reptiles to arachnids, he’s constantly researching, learning, and wanting to better understand the creatures around him.

And before anyone asks… yes, Pierce had already researched different scorpion species, their venom, and severity beforehand 😅

Still…
👉 “Don’t try this at home.” — Mom watching nervously 😂❤️

No matter what happens tonight, Pierce has already shown something powerful:
👉 Courage to try
👉 Determination to keep going
👉 Passion for what he loves
And that matters more than any title ❤️

Thank you for helping encourage a little boy who simply loves nature with his whole heart.

📰❤️ We walked into Entomology Club and noticed a newspaper sitting on the table. Pierce’s teacher smiled and said, “Oh, you should look at the article inside—it’s about the photography club.”

She flipped through the pages, and Pierce saw the picture and thought it was so cool… not realizing it was actually his own article he had written about the photography club and the awards they won 🥹❤️

He had eagerly volunteered to serve as reporter for the 2 Rivers Rabbit & Photography 4-H Club, and seeing his work printed in the paper was such a special moment.

That same day, he also received his 1st place fair ribbon, along with 8 blue ribbons and 1 red ribbon for his photography 📸🌿
And yes… most of his photography is nature-based 😂❤️

As a mom, it means even more knowing he continues to pursue opportunities so bravely despite the challenges dyslexia can bring. So proud of him ❤️

🎣🌿 One of my favorite things to watch is how Pierce shares his love and curiosity for nature with his brothers ❤️

Whether they’re fishing, using nets to observe tiny creatures, or exploring outdoors together, Pierce is always excited to teach them something new. And his brothers genuinely love learning from him 🥹

Watching the three of them gather around every little catch, ask questions, and explore together reminds me how beautiful curiosity can be when it’s shared.

I cherish these moments with my boys ❤️

Quarter Finals Ends May 21st!

One time we left for vacation and left Dad in charge of the critters. Somewhere along the way, the snake tank didn’t get closed all the way… and the snake escaped 😭🤪

That little escape artist was missing for TWO WEEKS.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t sleep normally the entire time because every night I was looking down at the floor before taking a step. We've didn't realize we were supposed to be looking up 😂!

The relief when we finally found the snake safe and sound was unreal.

This is life when you have a child who loves nature, reptiles, insects, and every creature in between ❤️🐍🐜🌿

🌿 Pierce has never really “played outside”… he’s studied outside 😂❤️

Every walk turns into an adventure. Every leaf, insect, flower, or sound becomes a question to explore. Any puddle, lake or river will be explored. He notices details most of us would walk right past.

That curiosity is one of our favorite things about him 🐜

As a mother, there is something so beautiful about watching your child discover their passion — especially when that passion becomes the very thing that brings them peace.

I asked Pierce, “Why is nature so important to you?”

And he said, “Mom, it’s the one thing that comes easy to me.”🌿🐝🦋

And I understood exactly what he meant. ❤️

Nature is what he breathes. It’s what he knows. It’s where he feels calm, curious, and confident.

Pierce wants to say thank you with all his heart for the love and support that helped him make it to the quarter finals. Every vote, share, message, and cheer has helped carry him this far.

📺🌿 Growing up, Pierce never really cared much for cartoons.

Since he was a baby, the thing that truly captured his attention was nature documentaries. Watching creatures, ecosystems, and wildlife discoveries brought him peace and filled his endless curiosity about the world around him.

One of the biggest influences on him has been David Attenborough ❤️.
