If you are a nurse/emt/dr, someone who would wear a scrub cap, do you feel that cotton is the coolest, most comfortable option?
I'm considering trying to sew some and want to know from someone real!
Is there anything else I should know as a maker that would make them more comfortable for you?

I've got some very simple tin whistle cases I made for my campus. I have them on Etsy, but if anyone wants to buy any without going thru there, I will pay for the shipping (they fit in a regular envelope) and they will be just $3 instead of the $4 I have to sell for there.
I would just need to know which print you want. Please message me so I dont miss it! If you have a question about patterns, let me know.
Also, if you want, I will put a plastic snap on the end (most people dont ask for them, but I've had a few).
I can take venmo or paypal payment but I would prefer it to be as family/friends or else I get docked like on Etsy...

This is what Sam's lovey was - up until he was about 7 or 8 when he lost his last one! It was nearly in shreds by then, but it still lasted a long time!!

NEW PRODUCT!
Boo boo bags, ouch pouches, hot cold packs - made with rice and flaxseed in a twill fabric, covered with a washable/reusable cover that has plastic snaps. Eco friendly!!

Made in different prints. There are 2 options - a set of 2 that are approximately 4x5 & 4x8 or a single 4x5 one.

If you want to meet to get them, then there's no shipping of course. (My Etsy prices are higher for shipping reasons.) What you see in the pictures is what I have made and also what is on Etsy. If there are 2 of the same color, that's how many there are!

PICK UP PRICES:
The set of 2 is only $15 and could be made with either cotton or flannel ( I can tell you which one you want is) - the blue elephant one is soft minky though.
Also the blue Dr Seuss big one is 5x11 inches, and the BamPow big one is 5x10 - all the rest are 4x8

The single small one is $5 each. This could also be cotton or flannel.

NOTE: Warm in the microwave in 15 second intervals. I would warn you to not let it get too hot. I prefer 15 seconds on one side and then flip and do 15 seconds on the other side. Be cautious of getting your pack too warm, or burning the fabric in the microwave. The combination of rice and flaxseed provides the most comfortable and longest lasting warmth but it CAN get too hot to put on skin (ask me how I know!!) so be careful when warming.

For cooling: Store in freezer for several hours. Provides quick cooling relief for up to 30 minutes.

Avoid getting the interior flaxseed/rice bag wet. Spot clean as needed and air dry completely. To clean the covers, simply remove the inner bag and set aside, then either hand wash or machine wash (delicates bag recommended) the covers. Cotton fabric tolerates many wash settings but using hot water may cause some shrinking. Iron if desired.

*Great for migraines *Neat gifts for friends, co-workers, teachers... *Perfect for Christmas, birthdays, thank you gifts etc!

Who I am

I’m a stay at home mom to the 2 littles in the cover photo. I also have 3 adult children and 1 grand daughter!

I decided to start making these mini midwife kits at the request of my own midwife. She wanted one for kids to use at her office when mommy’s came for appointments. So I made some patterns for all the pieces and decided what ‘extras’ to put in based on what she suggested. Then she had some clients want them too, so I started making more!

Then, I started making baby blankets, baby doll blankets, & capes. Sometimes I try new things. If you have an idea of something, let me know and I’ll see if I can do it for you!
