An update on our East James Campbell location!

We’re excited to share that we will be open for pickups and drop-offs by Monday, August 31st! All pickups and drop-offs will take place in our mobile office located at the front of the parking lot.

It was so special to reconnect with the EntreLeadership team for an interview for their show!

This visit had been on the calendar for several months, long before we knew what this month would bring. Chris has been through the EntreLeadership program three times, in 2012, 2014, and 2015, so it was really neat to come back, sit down, and look at what our business has looked like since then.

And a lot has happened.

Since 2012, Chris has led our business through a fire that nearly caused us to shut our doors, colon cancer, running an essential small business through COVID, welcoming several family members into the business, and enduring another fire that has shaken our family and our team.

It was really special to look back at where we were then and see how much our business has changed and grown over the years, and all that we have experienced along the way.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with the EntreLeadership team and share a little bit of our story.

Last night, in the midst of all the chaos, we set aside time to find some joy and celebrate someone who has been part of the Best Cleaners family from nearly the beginning.

We celebrated Butch’s retirement after 27 years of driving for Best Cleaners! For years, Butch has picked up and delivered for our clients, always with his signature orange Tennessee hat and a friendly smile.

This photo feels especially meaningful as Butch steps down. Three generations of our family have had the privilege of working together in this business, alongside people like Butch who have helped make Best Cleaners what it is today.

We celebrated with a “Hats Off to a Happy Retirement” party and are so thankful to everyone who came to celebrate Butch with us.

Thank you, Butch, for 27 years of taking care of our clients. We are so grateful for you! We love our Best Cleaners family and this community!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support.

We also want to give a special shout out to the BEST team who has been ready and willing to serve you every step of the way. We are working hard to get back on track and get everything moving as quickly as possible.

To our incredible Middle Tennessee community—thank you for the outpouring of love, encouragement, and support.

And most importantly, thank you, God, for holding our hands through every step of the recovery process and giving us strength through the unexpected.

After the fire, this sticky note was still sitting on Chris’s computer:

“Always think of the clients before myself.”

Those words have guided every decision we’ve made since Thursday night.

While we’ve been working through the aftermath, our team spent the weekend in Florence cleaning garments to help keep as many orders moving as possible. We are also working hard to get our production facility back up and running, but recovery takes time.

If you have items at our East James Campbell location, please know we are actively working to get to them as quickly as we can. Right now, many parts of our operation are at a standstill as we coordinate cleanup, equipment, and production. We kindly ask for your grace and patience as we do everything we can to get your items back to you.

To our incredible community, thank you! Your prayers, encouragement, meals, offers to help, and countless acts of kindness have meant more than we can express. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

We’ll continue putting our clients first, just as we always have, and we’ll keep working until we’re fully back on our feet!
