🫂Brentwood Community We Need Your Opinions!!

A FREE summer event that is family-focused, textile recycle minded with fun repair demos + a clothing swap event!

This has been an idea I have been meticulously researching for some time, and I want to make happen.

I just need your help✨️
My goals for this event are:

•Clothing Swap-Bring 2 or more items to leave on a swap rack and exchange them for new to you items.

•Mending Bar-Free repair demos to teach you how to mend your garments.

•Textile Waste-Create a recycling program to dispose of fabric waste correctly.

Our morning machine sewing camps feature different projects, you can select 2, 3 or 5 day camp sessions!!

We're looking for volunteers to provide some extra help with filming projects this month and in early February. The exact dates and times are TBD but if you are local and interested, please let Christina know! Send her an email at [email protected] or send us a message.

These film projects are exploring a powerful and personal aspect of the cancer experience: Fear, Identity, and Isolation. These films will spotlight real stories of resilience, vulnerability, and strength in a theatrical documentary way.
