If this Bible could talk… imagine the stories it could tell. 🖤📖

There’s something incredibly special about holding a piece of history from 1897 in your hands.

The worn leather. The fragile pages. The battered edges. Some might see damage—I see 126+ years of life.

Imagine the world when this Bible was new. No televisions. No cell phones. No internet. Families gathered around lamps in the evening, and books like this were treasured possessions.

And then I wonder about the people who held it before me. How many hands turned these pages? How many weddings, births and losses did it witness? How many prayers were whispered over this Bible? How many people reached for it when they needed hope?

It may be rugged, worn and imperfect—but that’s exactly what makes it beautiful.

Because sometimes the most beautiful decor isn’t perfect at all.

It’s a piece of history you get to hold in your hands. 🤎

Do I need another one? No.
Do I already have 47 versions of basically the same thing? Probably.
Will I pick up the next tiny white creamer I find? Absolutely.

I don’t make the rules. Tiny vintage creamers just come home with me. 😂
