Fun/spooky post ahead!! 🎃👻🎃👻🎃 When your Halloween-loving 6 year old asks for a “spooky haunted dollhouse” for her birthday, it’s the perfect excuse to dust off your ole paint supplies and make it happen!! This old dollhouse got a complete Gothic Makeover with lots of spooky touches, and I have one very happy little witch over here 🧙‍♀️

Today I was reminded of how much I love to get messy and create 💛 I have missed this so much. It has been way too long since I held a paintbrush in my hand, and today I dusted off the ole cobwebs and made it happen!
The kids and I threw on our paint clothes this afternoon and had so much fun creating some summer magic in the backyard. We painted some simple wooden crates and designed our very own Lemonade Stand. Best part is that you can easily take it all down and repurpose it simply by untying the burlap ribbon, easy peasy lemon squeezy 🍋 Can’t wait for them to have their sweet little sale later this week!

SOLD this one right away! It felt SO good to put on my messy paint clothes this weekend and work on this project outside! I really love a good makeover and the before and after pics on this vanity are yummy! So happy this beautiful piece will be treasured and loved for many years to come. It’s a new life for this beauty 💗

UPDATE: SOLD!! This vintage framed leaded glass panel is so charming! It has been cleaned up and the wooden frame has been refinished and distressed in a robin’s egg blue color. This would look so lovely hanging over a kitchen window or any window that lets in a lot of light. The chains are already attached, so it’s ready to go! The measurements are 27” x 21” 😊

UPDATE: SOLD! Just finished with this vintage dresser/secretary desk before the rain rolled in, and I love how it pops! It has been painted in a dark blue color and finished with a white-wash top coat for more of a beach-y/nautical/casual look. Lightly distressed, sealed in wax, and the push button k***s were painted in a warm beige neutral. My favorite part? Pull down the second drawer from the top, and you will find a hideaway secretary desk! I love how transitional this peice is, very unique 💙

The sweetest treasures belong in a baby nursery 💗 Just refinished this vintage wooden rocking horse today for my sweet cousin, who has a baby girl on the way! “May she touch the dragonflies and stars, dance with the fairies and talk to the moon.”

Every fall, I just love doing DIY projects with the kiddos and decorating the house with our handmade crafts. This year we made our own pumpkin & ghost luminaries! It was easy, super cheap, and FUN! Feel free to post your own pics here if you end up making this project. I’d love to see it! And I love everything Halloween!

Supplies needed for this spooky project:
*Repurposed glass jars (we used all of our glass yogurt jars, they were the prefect size!)
*Orange/white paint & paintbrushes
*Black marker
*festive ribbon
*Googly eyes
*Tea light candles
*Halloween music, just because! 🎶🎃

FOR SALE!! Pretty in pink! This beautiful nightstand has received the royal treatment. My kiddos were the ones who actually first spotted this project piece, discarded on the curbside yesterday! They said that we needed to pullover and rescue it, and that’s just what we did 💗 Painted in soft pink, antique white, and the drawer is lined with a vintage floral print. So darling!
