🎈 5 years ago today on my 22nd birthday, I launched my website under the name “Nathia by Nathia Wray”, which has now evolved in to the Human Resource as we know it today. I created this brand with the intent to give others some of the tools and support I myself wished I had. One year in, we navigated the pandemic alongside all the rest of you, and were somehow still able to stay afloat through the madness. Two years in (2021), I unfortunately, began facing health struggles, which persisted until the end of 2023. I just want to say thank you so much to those of you who have supported me from the beginning, those of you who are new to the HR community and all of you in between. Thank you for sticking with me during my year and a half hiatus when I was forced to take time off in order heal my body. Thank you to those of you have invested your time, resources, energy and love into me and my brand. Thank you to those of you who have provided me with opportunities and given my brand a space outside of simply being online. Thank you to those of you who cheer me on, who share my creations, who wear my creations, there are so many many instances in which this has felt so surreal; that out of nothing, I was able create not just a brand but a community. Seeing photos of my clothing under your Christmas trees, having people come up to me, excited to meet me, having already known of my brand. Having heart-to-heart with some of you at pop-up shops in markets, to now being able to allow you all to shop our designs in store . Thank you all for giving my brand a chance, for believing in me, for being patient with me as I operate as a “one-woman-band”. Thank you for allowing me room to grow. Thank you for being a part of this community. There are so many more amazing things to come and in the works, and I’m so excited to share them with you. I am so proud of this space, not even because I built it, but because of the beautiful souls it has attracted. Each and everyone of you are just so kind hearted and loving, and the fact that that is the type of energy that my brand is drawing in, affirms to me that I’m doing the right thing. I am so very grateful. Thank you.

🥬🍅🌭 DIFFERENT BUT THE SAME - Unisex, Copped Boxy Tee is currently available on our site.
A cup of coffee or tea is one of the many ways in which cultures all across the globe find themselves in intersection with one another. From the Hispanic/Caribbean community, to the Asian community, African community etc. a cup of tea or coffee seems to be something we collectively bond over; whether that be to cure illnesses, break fast, or simply offer as a hospitable gesture to friends and family when communing together. We here at wanted this piece to emphasize/ reflect the harmonious nature our global community, with sentiment, “different but the same” being utilized as a play on words. It’s as if it is anthropological, tacit knowledge across cultures, that a cup of tea holds deep significance. A very simple thing that also serves us a reflection of our oneness. Although we pose our differences, if you truly take time to look, you’ll find that we share the same heart. The sentiment “different but the same” focuses in on a beauty that runs much deeper than just coffee and tea but into the inner workings of friendship, family, community, communion and ridding ourselves of individualistic ideologies; a reminder to focus in on the ways in which we can operate together as one, for the greater good of the human race.

Our “LOG OUT” puff print hoodie. The back of this hoodie reads “the internet isn’t real” in screen printed puff ink. This hoodie serves as a reminder to step outside and immerse yourself in what’s really going on in your community. The internet is full of hypothetical discourse, gossip blogs and entertainment podcasts run by radical, often hurting individuals. The internet is fueled by rage-baiting and algor/thms tailored to feed you non-stop , empty dopamine hits. Spend more time offline than on, more time grounding yourself, connecting, communing, understanding, and deeply experiencing rather than immersing yourself in false realities. ‘Life’ on the internet is often manufactured to soothe or replace what others feel they are lacking in their tangible realities. The internet isn’t real, treat everything there as a skit, take it with a grain of salt and log off regularly. What are you doing for the betterment of your mind, body, soul and community?
