When I keep dropping the shuttle, its time for a break. But its hard to take a break when my intention was to weave for most of the day. What shall I do now?

I love the color variation possibilities that happen on a plain warp.

Cottage towel pattern, with weft variation. I'm doing 4.5 inches of red, followed by 8 stripes of white, separated by 7 stripes of blue, for seven total sections of solids and stripes.

If you'd like to try the Cottage Towel pattern for yourself, it's available on my website!

Hey, weavers! If you need inspiration for some Red, White and Blue projects, I got you!

1. This is the Friendship towels draft, available for free on the Schact website. (I'll put the link below) I warped the checkered section with blue, and the other section with red, and used white or natural as my weft.

2. Use either of my Vintage Christmas drafts (4 shaft and 8 shaft available) and change the green to blue.

Show me what you're working on!

9/10 transactions have been recovered. The last transaction is a single Poppy Block tea towel, and i can live with that loss, because God has been so good to me!

I left on Tuesday for a camping trip with my parents and 2 of our granddaughters, and we have had a blast.

If you have ordered from my online store, your orders will be mailed out on Monday, and THANK YOU! To everyone who showed support and kindness through comments, sharing, liking and ordering, 😘😘😘😘 You're amazing. Thank you.

There are two unpaid purchases left, and I'm hopeful that the buyers will see this. Also, read on for a response to a few commenters who were less-than-supportive in their responses to my cry for help.

Let me start by saying 99.5% of comments uave been supportive, helpful, offering prayers and good wishes for my victory in this battle - even though *I* accidentally created the mess. People are basically good, and I will stand on that.

Ive been called stupid. Told I should have known better. One commenter asked how I could uave made such a mistake when tap-to-pay isn't new technology?

Ya know, I get how some people can't understand how a mistake like that could be made in this day and age. I could blame it on the fact that I'm not much of a shopper myself. Most of my purchases happen online, or with cash in person. I have a credit card scanner thing, but its a hassle to use, since it constantly disconnects itself from the Bluetooth on my phone. I could blame my age and my lack of confidence and knowledge in technology. I'm just not tech savvy.

I could blame my age (senior brain,) or my excitement at having a great booth in an excellent venue where the culture is fun and kind. I don't do many in-person events, because once I figured out my website, selling online is easier.

Yes, in retrospect, it was a stupid mistake, and initially, a costly one. No one was harder on me than I was on myself, I assure you. I'm grateful that there have been so many kind responses, and very few responses that sounded like the mean voice in my own head. Trusting God and giving myself grace have also been valuable lessons in this process.

An update on my colossal mistake at the vendor event:

7 out of 10 transactions have been made right, and I'm hopeful for the remaining 3 transactions. I believe people are basically good, and I know how blessed I am with amazing customers and clients.

If you're new to this page, Hi! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Jen, and I'm a weaver. Everything you see in my shop and on this page, is made by me, and me alone. I'm a one-woman operator, and I'm passionate about weaving. I'm married, have 3 kids, 5 grands, a little garden patch and a love of camping and fishing.

Thank you for all the love and support you've poured out on me. Thank you for sharing, posting, commenting and ordering. I will certainly not make that mistake again!

Apparently, a lot of people received free handwoven goodies this weekend. My fault, completely, but still...

I have one of those phone cases that holds your license and credit cards, right? Apparently that's a bad deal, when attempting tap-to-pay for your customers. My shop app read my own debit card and charged me, instead of my customers. I can dispute the charges, and I am, but I can't get the inventory back and I have no way of tracking the customers.

If you see this, and you purchased towels or any other product from me at Rummage at the Ranch, check your statements, please. If you dont see the charge from my shop, please reach out. I can give you my paypal or cash app, or I can email you an invoice.

I'm out over $500 worth of inventory. :(
