Lords, Ladies, Pirates and Scoundrels
It is with great sadness that I bring this news. I haven't posted since this time last year due to many adversities with failing health, and it is again the reason why I post now.

Try as I might to bring Black Pearl Leather back to the once booming business that it was before my accident and cancer, I must once again put it on hold.

The devil known as cancer and some unforseen circumstances have forced me to put my leather crafting away.
Once my life settles down I will craft again, as this is a passion I cannot walk away from.

I love you all and thank everyone of you for your devotion, dedication and support.

Going through past photos and found these from May 20th, 2013.
Matthew Benn aka 'Handsome John', ordered this custom baldric / double flintlock carrier specifically for the upcoming pirate weekend that year.

Last weekend was pirate weekend at the Castle of Muskogee in Muskogee, OK and he was wearing it proudly 8 years later.
I'd like to thank him and his wife Jennifer for being loyal customers and friends. 🏴‍☠️
