the reality of it … on August 1st Lola’s engine decided to take her last breath … sure I was bummed as I knew this was a setback for the plans “I” had coming up throughout the month. I was looking forward to our maiden voyage to the Eureka Springs VW Weekend. I still had plans to go, yet as the days drew closer to the show, I found myself wondering and convincing myself “since you’re not taking Lola, there’s really no need for you to go.” Down to the morning of the show, I was standing in the driveway in shorts & flip-flops drinking my coffee … still deciding. I realized the importance of collecting moments & giving moments to others … at this collective moment, I decided to put together 10 Sticker Packs and to give those away at the show, to show my gratitude to the community that has given me many moments with my family & friends.
