SHOP UPDATE: Some of you know I changed full-time jobs this year, and it has been a positive change. However, I now have less time to manage God Talks With Kids product sales, shipping, marketing, pop-ups, etc.

I will be closing most of my product sales on February 5th, 2023. Until then, you can shop my remaining inventory of products, including my Faith-Building Conversation Cards, for 50% to 75% off retail price! I'll also throw in free shipping for orders over $35.

Starting February 5th, Conversation Cards will only be available via wholesale orders over 50 sets by reaching out to me directly. So be sure to stock up for baby showers, birthdays, etc.!

I have LOVED meeting you and/or getting to minister to your families and friends over the past 3 years through God Talks With Kids. I've learned so much about creating products and running a business. But the Lord has confirmed it's OK to move on to the next adventure. I sure am grateful for your support. — MP

The Story Behind the Product

I never met my husband's mother this side of Heaven. But she inspired the creation of God Talks With Kids. Breast cancer took my mother-in-law, Shannon Phillips, to the arms of Jesus at age 46, the summer before I fell in love with her son. When her children were in high school, Shannon gave them each a set of index cards secured with a binder ring. The cards held her favorite Scriptures, excerpts from meaningful devotions and personal notes. All these years after her death, my now-husband has kept and cherished those cards as one of few remaining connections to his sweet mom. Our oldest daughter was 4 years old when I began using Shannon's Scripture cards on the way to preschool to talk through biblical truths and combat her blossoming anxiety. However, it was clear some of the concepts were beyond her understanding. Then, God planted an idea. What if I created a similar tool with children in mind? Something that helped children learn answers to the basic questions of our faith: Who is God? And who am I? That's how God Talks With Kids was born. But the story doesn't end there. Shannon's oldest daughter, Sarah, is a gifted writer/illustrator of children's books. Considering the product's inspiration, I knew there was no better person to create its artwork. I am so proud to be continuing my mother-in-law's legacy in some small way. Someday, I know, we'll have a lot to talk about.
