Happy Valentine's Day 💝. We wrapped up a photoshoot for PottyPants featuring our son Milo aka "Mr.PottyPants." It was a hectic couple of hours of laughter, screams, and occasional tears. Shout out to our NYC based photographer for being so patient with us 🙏.

" I recently had the opportunity of trying out this new product with my daughter and I’m excited to share my thoughts with all of you. 🎉

PottyPants are crotchless underwear/shorts for children to use during potty training. It might sound a bit strange initially but this technique is actually pretty common in other parts of the world!

From my personal use I feel these would be very helpful for parents who are ready to start the potty training journey even if their child is on the younger side. They could be a great tool for children who are still working on pulling down pants and underwear quick enough before an accident. With potty pants you’re able to give your child some independence to quickly use the bathroom themselves even before they have fully achieved this skill.

The other area I found them to be helpful was with children that are having a hard time transitioning from p**ping in a diaper to completely bottomless. PottyPants can offer a more gradual transition for those that have some genuine fears about sitting down with nothing on.

Let me know if you guys try them out! They are extremely soft and my daughter seemed very comfortable in them!

An open letter to parents: "Just when we thought our 3-year-old had been potty trained for months, it alarmed us when he started refusing to p**p. After three days of p**p watch(on the parents' part), Milo remembered his training and came around. This experience has taught me, as a potty training enthusiast dad, to trust your child and yourself. We are featuring our potty training star of the Week 🥇 Thomas! We want to share his mom's experience on how Thomas used PottyPants to help his behavior related potty training issues.

"Let's talk about potty training:
 
And NO, this isn't one of those Pinterest, my kid was potty trained in 3 days kind of post.
 
We never had a huge problem with potty training Carter, but Thomas has been a whole different story.

I honestly feel like we forced it on him and that's where the problem began.  He fought it every step of the way.

I would say that after a year he is fully potty trained, he doesn't have accidents anymore. However, the potty is still a nightmare. Thomas REFUSES to pull his underwear up. I mean completetly refuses. He will not. He has no issues telling us he needs to go, and going by himself, pulling his underwear down by himself etc.

He will not get off that potty and pull his underwear up. This has been going on since the start of his potty training journey. It always seems that he has to go potty when we're right in the middle of something too. like sleeping at night.

We have tried everything to encourage him to do this himself. It just doesn't work and everyone gets frustrated.

So, maybe a solution, have him in underwear that he doesn't need even to take off to begin with?!

What!!

Yes, you read that right, with he doesn't even need to take them off when using the potty. The PottyPants are designed with great coverage when wearing and they have an opening to allow him to use the potty.

As you can imagine, Thomas is picky, he has his days, we're working on it.
