UURMI Hand Woven Scarves UURMI is a fresh new line of hand woven scarves and modern Indian womenswear designed by Parsons graduate Sumanta Ghose.

The name UURMI (pronounced oor-mee) originated with the designer's grandfather, Manindra Narayan Bose, an avid traveler and talented artist whose nickname for her was Urmimala.
