Happy Pride Month! 🌈

Pride began with people who dared to live authentically and who fought for a future where others could do the same.

We’re honored to start the month honoring co-owner of , whose work continues to build on the legacy of visibility, community, and progress that started there more than 50 years ago. As Stacy says, “Every time someone shows up as their true self, it creates permission for others to do the same.” Here’s to celebrating our community, honoring those who came before us and continuing the work that moves us all forward.

Ana Angeles () pours their heart into everything they do, from cultivating the Women’s+ division of New York City’s Pride Basketball League () to leading graduate students and advocating for affinity graduations at Columbia University School of Social Work. Born in the Philippines, three principles were instilled in them from a young age: show up for people, create joy together, and don’t be afraid to make sacrifices for the community. As we close out AAPI Month, we’re proud to share Ana’s story—a reminder of how showing up for others can strengthen entire communities.
