Making a built-in bra for a custom silk top. This client is A-cup who doesn’t wear bras. Without a bra, her ni***es would stick out. Sticky silicon ni**le covers are handy for that but she is not a fan. So instead, she asked for something built-in and was happy to pay for the additional feature. So, this was what I did.
I would never thought of doing this unless I was challenged to come up with a solution. What fun! The outcome wowed us both! Finished piece coming next.

When sizing down a garment, meaning when there is extra fabric available to you, you can cut just them out but I like to look at the garment’s design carefully and think about how to utilize that extra fabric to enhance the design. That extra step is what I am all about.

This is only one of many vintage clothes of I have been working to repair, restore, and enhance. More Show-and-Tell coming up.
