Ombre’ Pret is a luxury line of clothing launched by Nirali Turakhia, a fashion & design graduate from “Fashion institute of technology”. Elemental to the label’s belief is the timelessness and comfort of every design, vested in the beliefs of the designer herself, who started the label with the vision to create ‘forever’ pieces of clothing. The thought that drives the endeavor is to make clothes
for women that focuses on ethos rather than trends. The label takes from love for details, and passion for celebrating and sustaining ancient traditions. The uniqueness of the label shows in its textiles where the fabrics used pass through the hands of craftsperson, carrying forward the rich culture and heritage of craft developed for centuries by generations. All Ombre’ Pret garments are made with the thought of honoring our roots that lie deep in the heart of our rich cultural heritage. It gives us an opportunity to celebrate our local strengths, heritage crafts and handwoven textiles. Our mission is to Focus on the country’s plentiful textiles, skilled techniques of craftsmanship like hand weaving, hand embroidery, block-printing, hand-stitching of apparel, fabric dyeing and adopting these gracious handmade processes to not only give the product a unique character, but it also adds a touch of sentimental value to it further helping us preserve the craftsmanship. Each piece is handcrafted with love and detailed to have a soul of its own.
