For accountability purposes, I’ve decided to start posting about my running journey. I’m definitely preparing for a marathon, though I’m not yet sure which one, so stay tuned.

Last night’s run was a bit challenging because I didn’t want to suit up and get out there. After a long day at work, I was mentally and physically exhausted and didn’t want to put my body through the discomfort—blah, blah, blah. But I pushed through and came out on the other side, completing my longest night run since I started my accountability journey. I listened to Nas’s It Was Written album all the way through, and the run I almost skipped ended up bringing me great joy afterward.
