After 15 years of heartfelt thank yous ➕ no insta growth since the infamous nightboob restriction of 2018, I think most of you know how grateful I am that you support local and eco businesses when you can.

So instead, allow me to say how grateful I am for all of the vintage sellers of the world making sure that pieces like this find their exact right home.

In a world awash with Shein and other weird algorithm mind mush, it brings me true joy to know there are so many people out there irl bringing you one of a kind pieces that will never scale, not everyone will love, but will be found by someone who will adore them enough to keep them out of landfills for decades to come.

You are not competition. You are family. And I thank you for all you do. 🫡

This one is a real honor as I have been a fan of and worked in tandem with .ny for about 15 years. It’s an absolute Greenpoint institution.

Dusty Rose will have a selection of gift-worthy vintage for your body and home: hygge-y household goods, cozy winter staples and sparkly stuff to help you celebrate the season.  

And Calico will have Calicornucopia 12, its annual end-of-year affordable art show with 35 artists all with work under $300.

Upcycled Basket Making Workshop this weekend!

Learn a coil technique to weave artisan baskets out of plastic bags, an abundant material in our environment. A cozy eco-craft perfect for the coming days of Fall. Feel free to bring your own collection of plastic bags (and scissors if you have), some bags and tools will be provided. Recommended for intermediate level (14+) but all are welcome.

Taught by Greenpoint artist Hanna Wellish and assisted by Diana Haro

Workshop length: 2 hours

11am-1pm or 3 - 5 pm / see flyer to register
