As many of you know or have heard, I could not be at our closing sale. I suffered a heart attack on the 17 th of April, and have had to step away
Not being able to see you and thank all of you..tell all of you the difference you’ve made in my life both personally and professionally has been weighing upon me. Small town rumors persist, so I wanted to post that I have a good care team, our family is strong and we are looking forward to a less hectic time. I’m overwhelmed by everyone who has come forward to help Kelly in my absence. We will be moving before too long and clearing our big building has been such a huge undertaking. Many of you have met my son Charles. He’s been in the store managing the cash counter and for the last three weeks he’s been caring for me so I can get rested up and gently move forward. Our beautiful big building is so much a part of us and this community it has been difficult for me to turn the key in the store for the last time. Thank you everyone for all the wonderful memories and friendships
I’m so grateful to be here today to be able to make this post, tell you all how I feel. I’ll keep you updated as we continue our path forward.
