When alterations slow down, I work on special projects. I created these 3 quilts for a client this winter. Thanks go out to Jump River area veterans for the military tags and to my friend Gail for helping me get them backed and quilted.

My 1st grandbaby is on its way, and what better way to celebrate than to make a quilt! I could not resist this quilt panel and coordinating fabrics. This is my 1 st attempt at free motion quilting (the panel) Then I used quilt as you go technique to add the borders. The 3rd picture is the fabric I will use to make a coordinating sheet for crib.

SAVED THE DRESS! This bride contacted me due to a damaged dress. She was not home when her dress was delivered. Delivery was not completed as directed. A dog had chewed the train. The tearful bride became the cheerful bride! Her dress was saved, and she looks beautiful!

This lovely young lady’s dress was much too big for her requiring that I take it in a lot. The neckline was also big in from and back. Straps were misaligned and she didn’t like the way they hooked to the back. I changed all this to create a look and fit that she was delighted with.

I’ve known this bride since she was a baby and watched her grow into a lovely young woman. I was given the opportunity to create the perfect fit for her big day!
The bodice had to be adjusted a little. The pleats in the skirt had to be changed so the skirt would lay just right. Slit in the skirt needed some change I love the final fit and how that skirt laid after my changes were made.
