Vixen & Valkyrie Fashion as art! Who are Vixen and Valkyrie? Of course! French Netting and Frisbee for crazy hat night? Sure! ).

It is a team of three women, mother and daughters, who love the art form, the creative outlet and sheer function of design. Ginger-Kathleen grew up sewing her own clothing and turned in her first pattern design at 8 years old, to be rejected with the kindest letter from McCall's Pattern Company (now owned by Simplicity Patterns). Gifted with two daughters, what started as a fun tradition to wear a

vintage deign at holidays turned into some incredible creations and always, ALWAYS Halloween costumes their freinds didn't understand (1920's flapper dress modeled after a beta fish she saw? And they rather seamlessly transitioned into her models and design partners. both equipped with a fierce passion to build others up, a strong runway walk and no concept that "you can't do that" was an option.

Who are Vixen and Valkyrie? It is a team of three women, mother and daughters, who love the art form, the creative outlet and sheer function of design. Goodness, the masks were SO hard on the girls! They carried if off like the powerful women they are. All dresses are based on a period of armor from padded Gambeson to Pauldrons of velvet and leather, with a nod to Amazons in green and the Wise Council.
