Hi everyone! I’m currently booked up until the end of next week with multiple bridal gown alterations, but I told myself I would design + sew a one-of-a-kind Homecoming dress for Fall if I ever found the time to!

Camden Creative Company remains open and is serving in the way it currently can best - continuing to help local brides, mothers of the bride, bridesmaids, and pageant participants prepare for their upcoming special events.

At this time, we are not equipped to collect clothing donations but are actively reaching out and connecting needed resources with members of our community.

We continue to keep our neighbors, first responders, volunteers, and recovery workers in our prayers!

ALTERATION REQUEST(S)

1. Book a fitting using the new Calendly appointment scheduler.

2. Wait to receive a confirmation through email.

3. Attend your fitting on the assigned date, bringing with you any necessary accessories (like shoes) that may change the fit of the garment(s) you want altered.

4. Discuss alteration order with Seamstress during fitting, receive a price estimate, sign an alteration agreement form, and schedule a pickup date.

5. Pay for altered garment(s) before your scheduled pickup date.

I’ll be honest - I’m still trying to figure out God’s calling on my life and how to best serve others in my local community with my small business! I’ve been praying a lot over it recently, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to focus more on my crochet art and my booth at Essence of Energy in Buckhannon, WV.

You see… crocheting is what I do when life feels hard - as well as when it feels happy - and it has been bringing me great joy and comfort to design these unique boho bags lately! I love being able to make them right here at home and seeing how a customer lights up when she spots the perfect one for her at the shop.

These handmade bags are clearly making an impact on all of my friends, family, and neighbors here in Upshur County - so I’d like to continue creating them for a little while longer and seeing how it goes!
