As of 7/31/24, I officially closed this chapter at a.p. I know this post is a bit delayed, but it’s been a challenge to find the right words to capture the essence of these 5 incredible years running a bridal business.
These years have been an unforgettable journey of self-discovery. I’ve learned just how hard I’m willing to work for something I’m passionate about, how to recognize my limits with stress, and the delicate balance between my personal and professional life. If you’d told 2019 me that I’d be navigating a global pandemic while running a bridal business, she would have never believed it!
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this adventure. A special thank you goes out to all the amazing brides who chose their gowns with us. Your trust, excitement, and the joy of being part of your special day made every moment worthwhile. Seeing you walk down the aisle in a dress we helped you pick is something I’ll cherish forever.
A huge shoutout to my parents for all their incredible help and support along the way. Your unwavering encouragement and hands-on assistance were invaluable. And to my supportive husband—thank you for being behind my decision and for believing in me. Thank you to my sister for housing me while I navigated 3 jobs in the beginning stages of operating a small business.
I will miss my perfect shade of pink walls, floral wallpaper and gorgeous light fixtures, and the best natural lighting one could ask for in a retail space.
Remember to support your local small businesses—they truly are the heart and soul of our communities. Your support means the world, and it’s what keeps the dream alive.
As my life evolves, so does my journey. I’m on the lookout for new adventures and opportunities, so if you have any ideas or leads, I’d love to hear from you! (Your girl needs a job 💜 lol)While saying goodbye to a.p.bridal is bittersweet, I’m filled with excitement for what’s next.
