On May 14, 2022, our city changed forever. Ten beautiful lives were taken in an act of hate, and Buffalo continues to carry both the grief and the responsibility of ensuring they are never forgotten.

Introducing - The Encore: Beyond The Runway Exhibition

Following Black Carpet III, we’re continuing the momentum with a curated exhibition featuring pieces from the show, creating a space for designers to showcase, share, and sell their work within the community.

To our community,

It truly takes a village.

Two Saturdays ago, over 2,000 people filled Shea’s Buffalo Theatre for Black Carpet III. But the night you saw on stage was only possible because of the countless hours, hands, and hearts that came together to bring that moment to life.

To our team who worked tirelessly to bring the vision to life.
To our production crew who spent countless hours building the sets and preparing the stage.
To the models, designers, performers, and youth protégés who dedicated their time and talent.
To our media team, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and supporters who believed in the mission.
And to every single person who walked through the doors to experience it with us.

This moment belongs to all of you.

Black Carpet III was more than a fashion show.
It was a celebration of Buffalo’s creativity, culture, and community.

A special thank you to Alicia Rainey and the entire Shea’s team for helping us bring this vision to life inside such an iconic space.

Buffalo showed up. Buffalo showed out. And together we created something unforgettable.
