Behind the Seam:

Rachel Hamerski was born and raised in the suburbs of Buffalo. An avid artist since childhood, she has earned a Bachelors degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising from SUNY - Buffalo State College. Just a few months before her graduation, Rachel designed and created her four piece collection for Buffalo State College's Runway 7.0 fashion show in Spring 2014. Rachel's aesthetic

is defined and inspired by contemporary shapes, combining a symphony of hard and soft silhouettes onto the body. Rachel currently designs for her Chelle Rae line, and designs freelance in Buffalo.
