🚨 Screen Printing Tip: To those who may not know why small print runs have such a high cost.
⚠️ If you don't know... 1 unit screen print is the same amount of work as 100 unit production.
✅ Screen printing is all in the setups. And what most people don't really know is that most all the work in a print job is pretty much up front. From confirming on color pantones, size of print, placement of prints, what type of ink needed/wanted (plastisol, puff, discharge etc), to color separation on prints etc. There is so much heavy lifting at the top of printing. The machines run pretty quick once the sample is done and approved, so most the hard work is really in the beginning.
✅ Just know this so when you want to do a small run you won't get surprised on why the setups are so expensive. But when you get into production all those setup costs will be diluted in the per piece of the production runs.
👉 Definitely look into getting a quote either way and you can do your numbers from there.
