Our little Charlie always has to go nose to nose with the goats 🤣 She loves running in their pen (even though they aren’t her biggest fans) and now with all these babies recently born, she’s even more obsessed. 11 new kids on the block!

Baby goats born in the snow days!
It’s rare for us to get snow days in Central Texas, but of course that’s when 2 of these mamas decide to birth twins.
The tough part of having babies in the snow is that even with the barn and extra protection, they don’t always make it. We helped them latch, added extra hay, and did what we could, but unfortunately we lost 1 of each set this time. These mamas are new and doing their best. No matter how long you raise animals, I think it’ll never stop being sad when they don’t make it. Praying for the 2 babies we have to grow strong!

Yall. The food scraps have really increased the egg production around here! We’ve barely had any truly cold days in Texas this year, but I didn’t expect this high quantity in January. Very grateful though!

Our favorite little escape artist finds ways to get out of the run even while we are actively working on the coop! Trimming out windows and hanging a new door, and she still manages to get out and then cluck at us to let her back in 🐓

Custom Christmas orders are all complete and now I’m starting a few new colors and designs over the holidays! I’ll post more pictures and videos of the custom orders once we are past the 25th- I don’t want to spoil anyone’s surprise!
Thank you so much to everyone who ordered gifts and trusted me to create custom earrings, dominoes, chess boards and more. I’m honored that you picked me and I feel like I’m ever perfecting the designs and techniques. More on that soon too. But truly, thank you. I’m so glad I got to create things for you!
