✨ New Handmade Cotton Washcloth ✨

Fresh off the needles! This 7 x 7 hand-knit washcloth is made from 100% cotton using the beautiful Pie Crust Basketweave stitch, which gives it amazing texture for washing dishes, scrubbing veggies, or elevating your everyday sink ritual.

I love how the raised weave creates both structure and softness, making it durable but still gentle on hands and surfaces. And the little speckles in the yarn make every cloth slightly unique.

I am absolutely in love with this yarn and this color 🤍

I recently acquired a retired wool stash from a former yarn shop owner, and I was lucky enough to receive enough wool to keep me knitting for at least a year. Such a gift!

This hat was a joy to knit. The brim is worked in a classic moss stitch for that soft, textured finish. I knit this one on straight needles (because my 16” size 8 circulars are currently being held hostage by another project 😅). Note to self: order more 16” size 8 circular needles!

I’m going to start knitting a red resistance hat. I’ve got a pattern ready and I’m digging into an old stash of cherry-red acrylic yarn. It’s not my usual material of choice, but in this case the message matters more than the fiber. I’ve been stuck at home with ice keeping me in, and with more snow on the way, it feels like the perfect time to turn that cabin time into a small act of resistance — one hat (or a few) at a time.

Meet the person behind the knitted hats 🧶
This began as a side hustle and a learning journey — I’m still building my skills, so each piece is made slowly, thoughtfully, and with care. I’m not a factory, I’m a human, and every hat reflects where I am in the process.

I split my time between Northwest Alabama and Western North Carolina — two very different landscapes that shape how I see the world. One home is in the mountains, the other near the Warrior Mountains, and both places influence my love for natural materials and simple, functional design.

I put the environment first, which is why these hats are 100% wool — natural, renewable, and made to last. No synthetics, no shortcuts.
