Bit of a read, but if this sits with you, you'll want to join us for our very 1st womens retreat (Be Her) 🙌
I did it because of God.
Not because I was strong enough.
Not because I had all the answers.
Not because I wasn't exhausted.
The truth is, I was tired. Worn down. Carrying more than I was ever meant to carry on my own.
There comes a moment when you realize you've spent so much time fighting for everyone and everything else that you've forgotten to fight for yourself.
This is that moment.
I've shown up for everyone else. I've poured into others. I've carried responsibilities, expectations, disappointments, and wounds while convincing myself I could handle just a little more.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't meant to live in survival mode forever.
I wasn't meant to constantly prove my worth.
I wasn't meant to carry every burden.
I wasn't meant to lose myself while trying to be everything for everyone else.
So today, I'm choosing myself—not out of selfishness, but out of obedience.
I'm choosing healing.
I'm choosing growth.
I'm choosing rest.
I'm choosing to trust God with the pieces I've been trying to hold together on my own.
I'm choosing to believe that the woman God created me to be is still waiting on the other side of surrender.
And while it may feel like I'm starting over, I'm not starting from scratch.
I'm starting from experience.
I'm starting from wisdom.
I'm starting from healing.
I'm starting from faith.
Because every step that brought me here, God carried me through.
And every step ahead, He will walk with me.
This is what "Be Her" is about.
Not becoming someone new.
But returning to the woman God created you to be before the world convinced you that you had to be everything for everyone else.
