Important. Please let your friends and neighbors know that the US has sanctions in places that keep the legitimate government of Venezuela from obtaining income from there which oil and minerals. That’s why the people are hungry and cannot get medicine. The profitability of our US resource extraction and corporations is by far more important to US leader ship then are the people in Venezuela. Listen to Code Pink. Listen to US Rep Ilhan Omar. No wonder Trump would like to see her off the foteign relations committee. Call our Reps and Senators.

Peace vigil noon today 9-21-16 at the peace park, NW corner of Broadway and Washington streets. Today is the international day of peace, and 700 rituals are taking place around the world. Come put a rock into the peace cairn in hope of kinder discourse during this election year, or to remember I loved one, or for world peace, peace in our country, our hearts, and homes.

Come meet up Wednesday to help low income people stay away from toxins in some rental houses and apartments, as well as neighborhood soils that are not remediated properly. All are welcome to come to the Citizens for Labor and Environmental Justice meeting at 5:30 PM Wednesday, August 24 at the Carpenters Union hall across from the County courthouse on Granite Street. The subject is Lead and how it harms children. Hoping to see renters there, folks who live on the Butte Hill, and around Silver Bow Creek, plus service providers to low income folks.
