It's been a while since my last update. I am finally in my new home and I am now finishing up the arrangements on the LSS trip to Ireland this September, there are limited seats available. It is going to be a fabulous "ladies" only trip. We will attend some cooking classes as well as visiting many of Ireland's beautiful sites. oh yes, there will be LOTS of shopping! Hello from NC. I have arrived down here and now I am in my rental until I can moved into my home. It has been a crazy journey to get to this point. But a good one!

Well I have an update on the 2023 Ladies Only Trip to Ireland . I finally have a flyer about the trip. With the sign up sheet. Let me know if there any questions.

LSS is happy to share this news with all of you. A former customer has opened Dunton Corner Deli in Patchogue. They are starting an Irish Food Section. Give them a try, they will be bringing in more items as they see what people are looking for ☘️

Hello my friends,

It has been a while… a lot has happened since LSS closed the doors. It took me a few weeks to clear out the shop and then it was onto transitioning into retirement. Truth be told, I am missing all your friendly faces and I am excited with all the updates I have to share with you all…

Since closing the shop, I traveled to the Carolinas to look for a new home and I did find one. My home here on Long Island sold rather quickly and I am moving to Calabash, NC.

Lots of changes happening!! I will be leaving the NY area the beginning of July and will be having a garage sale at my house…there “may” be some things still left from LSS. Date for this June 4th 7am-2pm.

This past weekend I attended an Irish/Celtic Trade Show in search of companies to work with in creating my LSS website. It is a work in progress and will be up and running once I settle in my new home sometime in September.

In addition to all this I am planning a trip to Ireland as well. A customer who has become a dear friend has asked me to put together a tour for “Ladies Only”. She has about 12 ladies interested, and I will be looking to fill the rest of the coach. It will be a small group of 20-25 ladies. The tour will be going over Sept 2023. I have also been in touch with NACTA Travel to help put this tour together. We are looking to include some fun stops along the way, possibly some cooking classes and lots of shopping while we travel around Ireland. More information to come as I finalize the itinerary and pricing.

As I said, lots of changes. I will be back with more information to keep all of you updated. Also watch Facebook for more LSS new and updates.

🇮🇪💚☘️ Good Luck both Eileen and Bill as they march up Main St today. LSS may not be here physically, but we are with you in Spirit. Hope to see many old friends at the Parade today. 🇮🇪💚☘️

🎅🏻🎄Still looking for that special present and you do not want to go to the mall. The shop may not look the same. But here at ☘️LSS I still have a few bits left to select from. I will be here finishing up a few of my last minute things. Come on in, the doors will be open from 10:00 to 2:00. Happy Christmas to all 🎄🎅🏻

Newgrange is best known for the illumination of its passage and chamber by the Winter Solstice sun☀️. Above the entrance to the passage of the mound, there is an opening called a roof-box. On mornings around the winter solstice, a beam of light penetrates the roof-box and travels up the 19 metre passage and into the chamber. As the sun rises higher, the beam widens so that the whole chamber is dramatically illuminated💚.

☘️Thank you for all the support shown to me over the last few days. As I closed the doors of LSS and a major part of my life. I have been blessed with the best customers/friends. Thank you all for the good wishes, cards, flowers and spirits ……they were so much appreciated. The past few days were like a slide show, with all of you stopping by and sharing the good times we have had together @ LSS over the years. Again, thank you for all the wonderful memories. It is not goodbye, but so long for now. I will be working on my website in the near future. Watch for more information to come thru e mails ☘️
