Hello, my lovelies! It's been a while!
Just a quick recap of what life's been like for the last couple of years around here. I lost my dad. My husband decided to shift gears (literally 😉) and go drive a truck. We closed our businesses down and focused on family and health. My oldest son went off to the Marine Corps. My 2 youngest decided to hijack my business name and sell freeze dried treats and fresh baked goods. 2 deployments later, and some other stressful events, and my health went down the tubes, so we slowed down on everything and focused on what was important - and put the bakery on the back... burner 😆. My daughter got a job that she absolutely loves, and is thriving at that. She's still living at home, but gone a lot. My youngest son decided he still really wanted to follow his passion alone and with his sister's blessing, he started his own bakery business. I've spent a lot of time working on myself, taking classes, getting educated, and began sharing what I had learned with the world. I started making recipe videos. I wrote and published 2 books. I created a place for mental and physical health resources. I'm still getting rolling and trying to grow both my A Holistic Health Approach and my son's Lone Star Kitchen. Now that those 2 things have lined themselves out and gained some momentum, I've been contemplating what the future may hold for 🌵 Runnin' R Ranch 🌵. For the OGs who've been around for a long time, you'll remember that I had a pretty booming business for many years. An online boutique with western flair. Apparel, accessories, jewelry, home decor, bath and body, all kinds of stuff! I even had a wholesale sister site, Etsy, Tundra, and Faire. I had an affiliate program where folks could share and earn commission on sales. It was awesome, but it was A LOT of work. I don't want to go back into that crazy lifestyle. I want to have time for other things. I don't want to feel like I'm being drained all the time to make a living. My husband provides for us, so it's not about the money. Kaitlyn is bringing in money from her job and gets to stock pile for her future. Jason's bringing in money from baking, and gets to save up for his dream of opening a brick and mortar location one day. I'm helping people with their health and wellness journey and making some money from that. I want opinions on what you'd like to see for the future of Runnin' R. I hate to see it die completely as this brand has been in my life since 1994. (I recently found the original paperwork from when my dad drew it up for me and got it registered for the first time 🫶) I'm just not sure which direction I want to go. What do you think? 🤔

Not gonna lie, I woke up with a migraine on this Monday morning and I have been horribly ill. I had no motivation to make a motivational post, but then I realized something. Even on bad days, I'm still proud of myself. I've been in low places and I've come out of them. This is no different. Even though I don't feel my best today, I am happy with where I am in life because I can look at the bigger picture and see my progress. I hope that if you're struggling today, this helps. 🫶

Simple gestures go along way. When you compliment someone else, it brings them joy. Try doing it for yourself. Have you given yourself a compliment today?
