UPDATE: To make compiling the information a little easier, our wonderful tech has created a short form. If you are interested in helping provide masks for Medical Personnel, please fill out the form here:
http://www.afabricshoppe.com/masks-for-medical-personnel.htm
The patterns can also be found through that link.
Thank you to our wonderful community of Sewists & Quilters who are coming to the aid of their fellow man by helping to make masks!
If this is something you'd like to help with
here are some things we'd like you to know:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Masks for hospitals and medical staff
need to made with high quality, tightly woven cotton/polyester blend or 100% cotton fabric, including the ties, no elastic!
Elastic will not hold up in the sterilization process.
If the masks are for non medical persons then elastic is fine to use.
The Fabric Shoppe is coordinating with the
Health Care Foundation for Ventura County, Inc. Please use this pattern to make masks for medical personnel in need of supplies.
We are compiling a list of everyone involved and how they are helping
so that we know where/what our resources are.
If you are interested in helping provide masks for Medical Personnel, please fill out the form here:

Many of our veterinarians have donated their disposable masks to human hospitals so they need fabric masks too.
Please be sure they are all cotton, just like human doctors, no elastic.
