We are gathering names of interested families that want their own garden next spring~ our intention is to help families by providing the resources and support they need to begin gardening! Our hope is to provide 12 families the opportunity to enjoy the fruits 🍉 ( and vegetables 🥕 ) of their labor , while meeting similar family groups ! In this way, families can opt to share their produce with each other if desired!
At the same time we are seeking volunteers to help produce food for those unable to garden 🪴 which we plan to give to the Food Pantry . These 15 beds will need a minimum of 10 volunteers throughout the growing and harvesting season. This work is weekly, about 4-8 hours each of 2 days per week. Children are encouraged to participate.
I have been given our first family name for their own gardens~ we have 11 more spots to be filled for the spring of 2027. We would like to be contacted
before Sept 30, in order to make multiple preparations .
