The end of a chapter is always bittersweet. I’ve shared too many novel length posts at this point, so I’ll do my best to be brief. Today the store building is officially no longer mine. The new owner is a kind soul with a love for old buildings and our community, therefore I know it’s in the best of hands. Did I shed a few tears when I went in one last time to take a few pictures? Of course I did! I built something special within these walls and it will always be a part of my story. It’s really only fitting I was wearing a popcorn cardigan when my daughter and I stopped by, can you imagine the number of these cozy cardigans that walked out that door in the years I owned it? You all made me successful, you made me feel like I was doing something that mattered so much more than a new sweater cardigan. The connections, the conversations, and the support will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything ❤️ -Mem’s
Don’t worry, I’m staying busy helping my husband continue to grow our asphalt business, my kids love seeing more of me, and I’ve got some ideas up my sleeve to fulfill my love of home design. Busy is the name of my game… and apparently also a trauma response but who even decides those things 🤣 love you guys!
