So last year I gifted Xmas quilts to many of my Niblings (my sister’s term for nieces and nephews). I wasn’t able to gift all of them at that time. Since then I’ve gained 3 new ones! {Malik Harris, Quincy Rook and Sol Zela Smith-Lietner} Here are the quilts I have recently mailed to my family! No photos of new babies provided, sorry! Update: I have 10 niblings, 9 great niblings and 2 great great niblings. All have been gifted a Xmas quilt.

I have been posting quilts I have recently quilted, including both my own and some that friends and clients have entrusted to me. While every quilt has a story to tell, this one does indeed. When I first purchased my longarm quilting machine in 2020, I was not immediately comfortable operating it, so I practiced extensively on my own quilts, mostly smaller ones, to hone my skills. Regrettably, this quilt was one of my earliest errors, necessitating a complete overhaul. Given the enormity of the task, it sat idle for quite some time awaiting repair. Fortunately, Lisa, an expert in the field, provided the necessary assistance, and today the quilt is finally complete.
