I was able to get these new bags finished this week. It's been a nice weather week, so had to spend a bunch of time in the garden keeping weeds down and managing the plants. It's always a balancing act in the spring between keeping my inventory up and managing the garden. These will be available tomorrow morning at the farmer's market and artisans in La Grange. Hope to see some of you there!

I just finished up this beauty of a travel bag. I am so happy with the way this came out! Sometimes when I am choosing materials to use for a bag I'm not always certain they will come out as I envision them. This one did and I love it...if I hadn't already made myself one of these ( In a different fabric) last year I might consider keeping it. I will be bringing it to the La Grange market tomorrow though....come and see it there !

Finally got a new backpack tote made this week. This is made from a pair of old denim jeans and some black leather from a jacket. It is lined with a fun yellow cotton print. Come out to the La Grange farmer's market and artisans tomorrow morning 9-1. Looks like we may get some rain, but we are under a lovely pavilion so you can still shop for all you need ! A new blue leather larger handbag will be making it's way to the farmer's market tomorrow morning along with two small cross body bags also made with leather. The leather for all three bags came from various pieces of furniture. Come out and see them at the market and see lots of other vendors with good things for sale!
