Many of the unique handbags I make are made from reclaimed materials such as leather clothing and decorator fabrics. Some of them have a story.

All of them have become something that can be beautiful and useful again!

My newest small cross body bag made from an old wool coat that still had a lot of beauty to share and the leather from a sofa. It's a one if a kind beauty and it will be making its way tomorrow morning to the La Grange Farmer's Market and Artisans. This week we are only open until 12 as there is another event using the pavilion later in the afternoon. So come out early!

Eight new phone bags finally got finished this week! These are fall and winter bags, perhaps except for that bright yellow one, which could still be a summer bag. Most are made with wools, one from a skirt and one from a man's jacket. These will be coming with me tomorrow to the La Grange farmer's market and artisans. Come see them in person! Remember, these are often one of a kind. If you see one you like you may never see it again!

I was able to get only one bag finished this week. Lots of garden chores to get done this time of the year! But this beautiful tan leather tote will be coming with me to the La Grange Farmer's market and artisans tomorrow morning. This is a midsized bag. About 10"x10" with a strap long enough to go on the shoulder and a fun lining!

These three new small cross body bags are headed for the La Grange farmer's market and artisans this morning. I had the privilege of getting to work with some more color than I can often find in my thrift shopping excursions. Fun fall bags with fun linings is the result. Come see!

...And three new small cross body bags...these won't last long folks! They never do. One from yellow leather, one from blue leather and one from orange suede. Come see them before 5 pm at Gallery 104 in La Grange!

Yeah! A new color mid size bag...this was made from an orange suede skirt. It has a fun lining too.
You can see it this afternoon here at Gallery 104, in La Grange
